ACLS Academy Now Offers CEUs for ACLS, BLS, PALS, and PEARS, Certified by the American Nurses Association
When mastering life-saving skills like ACLS, BLS, PALS, and PEARS, it’s essential to seek training that equips you with hands-on knowledge while recognizing your professional growth. At ACLS Academy, we’ve always been committed to delivering expert-led courses that prepare healthcare professionals to respond effectively in emergencies. We are excited to share that we are now officially certified by the American Nurses Association (ANA) of Massachusetts to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for completing our ACLS, BLS, PALS, and PEARS courses.
This certification adds more value to your training, ensuring your commitment to learning life-saving skills is recognized and rewarded. Whether you are a nurse, EMT, or another healthcare provider, our life-saving courses, now with CEU credits, provide the critical tools you need to manage pediatric emergencies and adult cardiac events confidently.
What is the American Nurses Association (ANA)?
The American Nurses Association is a leading organization that sets the standard for nursing excellence. It represents nurses across the United States advocating for high-quality healthcare, ethical standards, and professional development. The ANA provides numerous certifications, resources, and guidelines that help healthcare professionals continue their education and improve patient care. Through their CEU certification, the ANA ensures that courses meet stringent educational criteria, further validating the expertise and value of the training you receive.
The Process of Receiving CEU Certification from the ANA
Receiving CEU certification from the ANA is no easy feat, and we’re incredibly proud of this achievement. The process started over the summer, when ACLS Academy, led by our dedicated team and especially Connie Dundon, embarked on a journey to meet the ANA’s rigorous standards. As part of her Master’s in Nursing Leadership and Health Policy program, Connie spearheaded this initiative, ensuring our courses align with the ANA’s educational objectives.
This collaborative effort between ACLS Academy and the ANA ensures that each course offered is comprehensive, up-to-date, and approved by a reputable organization committed to nursing excellence. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to providing the best training available to healthcare professionals so they can confidently respond to emergencies in various settings.
What Does This Mean for Nurses Who Take Classes with ACLS Academy?
Nurses taking courses at ACLS Academy will now earn CEUs, essential for maintaining and advancing their professional credentials. Adding CEUs is a significant advantage for nurses who must complete continuing education requirements to maintain licensure or certification. By taking our ACLS, BLS, PALS, and PEARS courses, nurses can fulfill a portion of their CEU requirements while learning life-saving skills that can make a difference in critical moments.
Whether you are renewing your certification or expanding your skills to handle pediatric emergencies, our courses offer a practical, hands-on learning experience that prepares you to respond confidently and competently to both adult and pediatric cardiac events.
