Are you an American Heart Association training center?

Yes, we are a certified American Heart Association (AHA) training center. Upon successful completion of your course, you will receive your course completion card directly from the AHA.

When will I get my course completion cards?

Course completion cards are issued via email directly from the AHA within one business day. Often they are issued on the same day, but this is not a guarantee. If you need a faster turn-around, please email us and we will try to work with you.

What is a Skill Session?

A skill session is the in-person component that you attend after completing the online Heartcode coursework. If you are taking the traditional in-person course, you do not need to participate in a skill session.

What is the difference between a BLS and Heartsaver CPR course?

BLS (Basic Life Support) is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and pre-hospital settings

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Heartsaver courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.

Will more classes be added to the calendar?

We update our calendar frequently. If you are trying to schedule a class months away, please know we will be adding more classes. We post our classes around the availability of our instructors, who typically get their schedules 4-6 weeks in advance.

Why does my card say that it was issued from Boston Medical Center?

We are a certified AHA Training Site, which means we are administered by a larger AHA Training Center. BMC is our Training Center, and all of our cards are issued through them.

Does ACLS Academy offer discounts?

If you take a course with ACLS Academy, you will receive a discount on all future classes FOREVER!

Do you offer student discounts?
