Instructor Courses

Courses for Instructors
Instructor courses are for AHA providers, and offer training so that the instructor will be proficient in teaching and demonstrating that discipline’s skills. Disciplines include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Heartsaver. You cannot become an instructor without a current course completion card in the specific discipline and a mastery of the subject matter. Students will need to complete the discipline-specific classroom instructor course and then be monitored while teaching their first course within six months of completing it.
How It Works

Step 2: Complete the AHA online essentials course for the discipline
