PALS Training Course for Healthcare Providers
This course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
Our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course covers the following:
Perform CPR on pediatric patients.
Recognize cardiopulmonary arrest and begin CPR within 10 seconds.
Differentiate between respiratory distress and failure, as well as unstable and stable patients with arrhythmias.
Perform early interventions for respiratory distress and failure, and the treatment of shock.
Implement post-cardiac arrest management.
Variations of the Course
PALS Provider $350: Traditional instructor-led 2-day course.
PALS Renewal $300: Traditional instructor led 1-day course

PALS Skills Session $170: PALS Skills sessions are the hands-on component, that combined with the online modules done directly through the American Heart Association, provide PALS course completion. The skills sessions are done in our facility and are led by AHA instructors. Skills sessions cannot be completed without first completing the online modules and providing course completion certificates.

What to Bring
Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring:
Valid driver's license or ID.
ACLS Academy will supply a pen, paper, and a folder that includes all of the documents you will need.
After Completion of This Course
After you complete and pass our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course, you will be able to provide CPR to pediatric patients and recognize and provide early interventions for respiratory distress and failure and cardiopulmonary arrest. You will also receive your PALS certification. . You will also receive your PALS certification.
