AED Project in Glendora, Mississippi

At ACLS Academy, we work with various organizations throughout the Boston area, including Six10 AED. In 2019, Six10 AED donated an AED box with funds from UMass Dartmouth students in Glendora, Mississippi. After the installation, ACLS Academy instructor Jenna Kennally and co-founder Shelley Lynch traveled to Mississippi to train Partners in Development staff over four days.

The AED box is secured to the Wellness Center (weatherproof) in Glendora and is locked with a four-digit lock code. When there is an emergency, and someone dials 9-1-1, the person will be given the code to access the AED.
